This event is held on July, 24th in Key Largo, FL and participants can hop abroad and spend the days learning and exploring the marine life in the upper Keys. On board will be marine lab biologist and instructors and many from the marine eco communities, participants will dive and snorkel around the mangroves, coral reefs seagrass and visit the National Marine Sanctuary and the coral reef state park John Pennekamp. The cost is $450 per person and includes all food, drinks, accommodations, field trips, snorkel gear etc. You will need transportation to the marine labs however, this workshop is ideal for educators as well who want to learn how to better incorporate the Eco-system, marine life and more into the sciences. It is an exciting and educational workshop for all. The Marine Lab is a marine science education center and was established in 1985 but founded in 1970. The Marine Lab is also open to the public and offer summer sea camps for kids, some of the sponsors include; Columbia, Ocean Reef Conservation Assoc. and Disney Conservation Fund.
