On January 26-28 is the 37th Annual Charleston Boat Show in North Charleston, SC at the Charleston Area Convention Center. The show basically get the boating season started at the event you can find thousands of people all with one thing in common being out on the water. The show is very popular and the vendor and exhibition spaces are sold out quickly months in advance visitors can find vendors here for all aspects of boating, fishing, artwork, tackle newest marine equipment, innovations, water sporting goods, gear and more. Tickets to the boat show are $10 for adults and children aged 4-12 are $5, kids 3 and under are Free, Seniors and military are $5 dollars, parking is free. On friday the show will be from noon until 6pm, Sat. 10am until 6pm and Sun. from 11:00 to 5pm. At this years boat show you can meet and greet Capt. Dave Carrao from Wicked Tuna the TV show on the National Geographic Channel. Visitors will also have a chance to pick up some pointers and lessons from the professionals that can educate anglers on fish species, testing reels, knowing different types of bait and lures, knowing the difference fishing in a lake, pond or river.
